The American public has never been asked to pay the price of the true cost of energy, says Michael J. Graetz, Justus S. Hotchkiss Professor Emeritus of Law at Yale Law School. In his latest book, “The End of Energy,” Graetz argues for a new tax that reflects the risks of climate change, and allows the country to take advantage of the domestic production of energy now technologically possible.
